Clay Guida vs Samy Schiavo Announced for UFC Fight Night 13

The UFC Fight Night 13 card just keeps getting better and better. Hey UFC, are you sure that you don't want to show this fight on PPV instead of on free television? The UFC continues to spoil its fans by showing great bouts on free TV.

As if Florian vs Lauzon, Bonnar vs Hamill and Parisyan vs Alves wasn't enough, the UFC has added another great fight in the form of Clay Guida vs Samy Schiavo, according to MMA Mania.

Clay "The Carpenter" Guida will enter this fight with a record of 22-9-0. Eleven of his victories have come via submission, and six have come via submission. Guida is coming off of a loss to Roger Huerta in the finale of The Ultimate Fighter 6 and will no doubt be looking to avenge this disappointing loss. Guida has lost three of his last four victories, with his other two losses coming against Tyson Griffin and Din Thomas. This will be Guida's sixth official fight in the UFC.

This will be Samy Schiavo's first fight in the UFC. He has a 10-4-0 record, with four of his victories coming by knockout and five coming via submission. Schiavo is currently on a six match winning streak after getting off to a shaky 4-4-0 start in his career, defeating the likes of Paul Jenkins, Mark Dayrell and Bruno Freitas.

This will be an interesting fight, as both fighters have a lot to prove. Guida will be trying to rebound off of a disappointing performance in the Ultimate Fighter 6 finale, and Schiavo will be trying to make a strong impression in his first UFC bout.
