Kimbo Slice vs Tank Abbott Betting Odds - EliteXC Street Certified Odds

 |

On February 16th, popular underground fighter Kimbo Slice will take on Tank Abbott in the main event of EliteXC "Street Certified".
If you think that you have seen these guys somewhere before, you probably have. Kimbo Slice made a name for himself by appearing in popular Internet videos showing him getting into fights with various people in backyards and inside of warehouses. Except for one fight, Slice dominated pretty much everyone that he faced.
Tank Abbott you may remember from his days in the WWE.
Kimbo Slice is currently a -450 favorite to win this fight, meaning that you would have to bet $450 in order to win $100 back. People have been heavily betting Slice in this fight; when the odds first opened, Slice was a -350 favorite.
Abbott, on the other hand, is currently a +300 underdog. That means that if you wagered $100 on Abbott to win, then you would win $300 back in profit.
If you are wondering why Abbott is such a big underdog in this fight, simply look at his record. He is 9-13-0 lifetime as a MMA fighter and has lost 7 of his last 8 fights. In his last two fights, he barely lasted three minutes combined before getting knocked out. Abbott is 42 years old and is clearly on the downside of his underwhelming career.
Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson has a lifetime record of 1-0-0 in professional MMA fighting. As I said, Slice has many fights under his belt, but most of them were unsanctioned "underground battles. Slice pounded Bo Cantrell into submission in his first and only MMA fight at EliteXC - Renegade back in November. That fight lasted only 19 nineteen seconds; I would expect his fight against Tank Abbott to last roughly the same amount of time.
