Full UFC Fight Night 13 Card Announced

According to Yahoo Sports, UFC Fight Night 13 will be a three hour mega broadcast that will be shown on Spike TV on April 2nd.

The UFC is giving their fans a treat by showing this PPV-worthy card for free. The event will be taking place at the Broomfield Event Center near Denver, Colorado.

The UFC has a history of showing excellent events for free on TV, with the idea being that they will generate interest in their product by showing strong events on TV. Their hope is that this will translate into increased interest in the sport at the end of the day, which will translate into more merchandising dollars and PPV buys.

The main event of the card will still be Kenny Florian vs Joe Lauzon. For our write-up of that match, please click here.

The other match-up that was generating a good deal of interest was Stephan Bonnar vs Matt Hamill. This match had to be changed though, as Bonnar was injured. Tim Boetsch has taken his spot on the card.

Here is the full UFC Fight Night 13 card (subject to change):

Kenny Florian vs Joe Lauzon

Thiago Alves vs Karo Parisyan
