Anderson "Spider" Silva vs Dan Henderson Betting Odds | Bet on Silva vs Henderson

Many people will tell you that Anderson "Spider" Silva is pound for pound, the best Mixed Martial Arts fighter in the world. Many people, including his opponent Dan Henderson, will tell you differently.

Las Vegas currently has the "Spider" as a -170 favorite to win this fight. This means that you would have to bet $170 in order to win $100 of profit back. On the other hand, Dan Henderson is currently listed at +130, meaning that if you bet $100 on Henderson, you would win $130 in profit back if he won.

Anderson Silva has an incredible record when you look at who he has fought over his illustrious career. He currently sports a professional MMA record of 20-4-0, with twelve of his victories coming via knockout. Silva can also submit you too - three of his victories have come via submission.

Silva is 6'2, 185 pounds. He has won his last six fights in a row, with his most recent victory coming against Rich Franklin at UFC 77 - Hostile Territory. He knocked Franklin out in the second round.

As mentioned, Silva has an extremely impressive history in terms of who he has fought. Let's look at his last four fights - he has beaten Rich Franklin twice (knockouts both times), he has beaten Nathan Marquardt and he has beaten Travis Lutter. His last loss was a disqualification due to administering an illegal kick against Yushin Okami. Silva is the current UFC middleweight champion.

Now, for Dan "Hollywood" Henderson. Henderson has an equally impressive 22-6-0 record, with ten of his victories coming via knockout. Henderson has never been knocked out in his professional career - two of his losses came via submission, and four came via decision.

"Hollywood" is 6'1 and 183 pounds. His most recent fight was a unanimous decision loss against Quinton "Rampage" Jackson at UFC 75 - Champion vs Champion. Henderson spent almost seven years in PRIDE, ranging from December of 2000 up until his last PRIDE fight in February of 2007, when he beat Wanderlei Silva via knockout.

Henderson is an extremely tough fighter. While this main event might not generate the headlines that a Liddell or Couture headlined event might generate, this will still be an excellent event and true UFC fans are chomping at the bit for this fight.

We like Silva in this fight. You can never beat against the "Spider". Don't be surprised to see this fight go the limit.
