Three More Fights Added to UFC 86 Card, Including Josh Koscheck vs Chris Lytle
 |

On Thursday, the UFC announced that they had added three more fights to an already stacked UFC 86 card, which will be headlined by Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs Forrest Griffin. The event will be taking place on July 5th, and will be held in Las Vegas.
Josh Koscheck currently sports a record of 10-2-0, and will be looking to build on the momentum of a second round knockout victory against Dustin Hazelett at UFC 82 - Pride of a Champion. Previous to the Hazelett fight, Koscheck had had a five fight winning streak interrupted by Georges St. Pierre, who eventually went on to re-capture the Welterweight belt from Matt Serra at UFC 83. Koscheck's other loss came against Drew Fickett at UFC - Ultimate Fight Night 2. Koscheck is known for his tremendous wrestling ability and will be a handful for Chris Lytle.
Chris "Lights Out" Lytle currently sports a record of 25-15-5, with seventeen of his victories coming via submission. His most recent fight was a first round victory against Kyle Bradley at UFC 81 - Breaking Point. He has fought an impressive array of fighters while in the UFC, including Thiago Alves (loss via Stoppage at UFC 78), Matt Hughes (Unanimous Decision loss at UFC 68) and Matt Serra (loss via Split Decision in The Ultimate Fighter 4 Finale). Lytle combines a mix of boxing and submission skills, and should prove to be an interest match-up for Koscheck.
A couple of other matches were added to the card, including:
Patrick Cote vs Ricardo Almeida
Patrick "The Predator" Cote sports a record of 12-4-0, with six of his victories coming via knockout. He is currently on an impressive four match winning streak, with his most recent victory coming against Andrew McFedries at UFC - Fight Night 12. Cote rose to prominence after taking Tito Ortiz to the limit at UFC 50, eventually losing via unanimous decision. Since that fight, Cote has fought an impressive string of fights, including Kendall Grove (first round knockout victory at UFC 74), Travis Lutter (submission armbar loss at UFC - Ultimate Fighter 4 Finale) and Chris Leben (split decision loss at UFC - Ultimate Fight Night).
His opponent, Ricardo "Cachorrao" Almeida, currently sports a record of 9-2-0, and has a solid Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu background. Almeida first appeared in the UFC at UFC 31 - Locked & Loaded, losing to Matt Lindland via disqualification. He recently returned to the UFC after fighting for PRIDE and Pancrase, defeating Rob Yundt at UFC 81 - Breaking Point via submission (Guillotine Choke).
Jorge Gurgel vs Cole Miller has also been added to the undercard.
As of right now, here is how the UFC 86 card currently looks (confirmed matches):
1. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs Forrest Griffin
2. Josh Koscheck vs Chris Lytle
3. Patrick Cote vs Ricardo Almeida
4. Joe Stevenson vs Gleison Tibau
5. Frank Mir vs Justin McCully
6. Melvin Guillard vs Dennis Siver
7. Cole Miller vs Jorge Gurgel
