UFC Fight Night 15 Card Released

 |

The UFC announced earlier today that there will be a co-main event for the September 17th "UFC Fight Night 15" show that will take place at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska.
The show will precede the debut episode of the eight season of the "Ultimate Fighter", which will feature Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Frank Mir as the two head coaches.
The final fight of the night will feature Nate Diaz taking on Josh Neer. Diaz has a professional MMA record of 9-2, including a perfect 4-0 record in the UFC. During his time in the UFC, Diaz has easily dispatched of his four opponents - the longest fight was a second round submission victory against Kurt Pellegrino at UFC - Fight Night 13. Diaz was the winner of the Ultimate Fighter 5. Neer has a lifetime record of 24-6-1, with 10 of his victories coming via knockout, and another 10 coming via submission. His last fight was a unanimous decision victory against Din Thomas at UFC - Fight Night 13.
The other co-main event will feature Mac Danzig (winner of the sixth season of the Ultimate Fighter) taking on Clay Guida. Guida has a lifetime record of 23-9, and will be looking to build on an impressive first-round knockout victory over Samy Schiavo at UFC - Fight Night 13. Danzig has a lifetime professional MMA record of 18-4-1, which includes impressive victories over Mark Bocek at UFC 83 - Serra vs St. Pierre II and Tom Speer in the Ultimate Fighter 6 finale.
Both of these matches should be great fights.
The rest of the card currently looks like this:
- Houston Alexander vs. Eric Schafer
- Alan Belcher vs. Ed Herman
- Kyle Bradley vs. Joe Lauzon
The UFC continues to treat its fans to fantastic free shows on Spike TV. UFC Fight Night 15 should be yet another great card.
