Amir Sadollah Injured Again
 |

FiveOuncesofPain.com (link below) is reporting that Amir Sadollah has suffered another injury, and was forced to pull himself off of the UFC Fight Night 17 card.
Sadollah was supposed to square off against Nick Catone. It is unknown at this time whether or not the UFC will find a replacement opponent for Catone.
The two fighters were supposed to square off at UFC 91, but Sadollah was forced to withdraw due to a leg infection.
The match was postponed until February 7th, 2009. This time Sadollah was forced to withdraw due to a broken clavicle.
Let's hope that Dana White and the UFC will quickly find a replacement opponent for Catone. He has been patiently waiting to make his UFC debut for months now, and it would seem a little unfair to make him wait until Sadollah returns to action. Catone deserves his shot.
Let's also hope that Sadollah can return to action quickly. The winner of the "Ultimate Fighter 7" is likely dying to continue to build on his momentum after submitting C.B. Dollaway in the finale of season 7.
And for those that say that Sadollah "should have been more careful" - give me a break. The leg infection was a freak occurrence, and the broken clavicle can happen to anyone who is training for a fight. It's just an unfortunate turn of events, and certainly not an indication that Sadollah is "weak", as some people are saying.
Let's hope that both of these fighters (Catone, Sadollah) return to action quickly.
