Rashad/Rampage Fight To Be Pushed Back?

Over the weekend, Josh Koscheck had this to say about his next fight on Twitter:

"I am fighting Daley,MAY 1 co main event UFC113."

This announcement from Koscheck had people scratching their heads - wasn't Rampage/Evans supposed to be the co-main event for UFC 113, along with Machida/Rua?

It now appears as though the Rashad / Rampage fight will be pushed back, likely to UFC 114.

That card does not have a main event as of yet, and a Rashad/Rampage fight would be a perfect fit.

There has been no official confirmation as of yet, but a number of people have indicated that the Rashad/Rampage bout is very likely to be moved back.

And why not? This fight has been in the making for months and months now, and the hype building up to the showdown between Rashad and Rampage will be unbelievable. There is really no need to put this fight on an already-stacked UFC 113 card - it makes more business sense to push it back.

I would look for the UFC to make an official announcement over the next couple of days..

A Rashad/Rampage would be the second biggest fight of the year for the UFC (behind a potential Mir/Lesnar III fight), so I'm not surprised that it will be pushed back.

UFC 114 will likely be another absolutely stacked card for the UFC. Seriously, fans of the UFC are in for a treat, as the UFC 110 through 114 cards are all loaded with great fights.
