As of this moment, Anderson "The Spider" Silva is fighting the world famous TBD (To Be Determined) at UFC 212.

Anderson Silva was originally supposed to fight Kelvin Gastelum on this card, though Gastelum was pulled after testing positive for marijuana metabolites.

UFC 212 is taking place in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, and Anderson Silva doesn't want to be pulled from the card for obvious reasons. This is a "big" Brazil card, as it is being shown on PPV and features Jose Aldo vs Max Holloway in the main event.

According to reports, Silva is interested in fighting two men on this card - Yoel Romero or Nick Diaz.

A number of other fighters have thrown their hats into the Octagon to try to fight Anderson Silva. According to reports, Luke Rockhold was offered the fight and accepted it, though Silva turned the fight down, stating that Rockhold was coming off of a loss and the fight wouldn't make sense.

Nick Diaz, however, hasn't won a fight since 2011, though he is still on Silva's list for some reason.

Vitor Belfort was apparently floated as an opponent for Silva, though Silva also dismissed that possibility as well.

Bearded Anderson Silva is doing a press conference ahead of his next fight.

There is no doubt that Anderson Silva is an important component to this card, as he will provide a reasonable co-main event for the Brazilian crowd.

One interesting wrinkle in all of this - if Yoel Romero and Anderson Silva ended up fighting and Silva wins, would he get to face off against the winner of Georges St. Pierre and Michael Bisping for the Middleweight title?
