Many eyebrows were raised recently when TJ Grant pulled out of his UFC 164 title fight against Ben Henderson due to a concussion. Anthony Pettis vs Ben Henderson is THE "money" fight in the UFC's Lightweight division right now, and many people were calling shenanigans when TJ Grant pulled out of the fight.

According to Grant himself, the concussion is, in fact, very legitimate, and there is no way that he would voluntarily pull himself from such a big fight.

So, with that, Anthony "Showtime" Pettis will be squaring off against Ben Henderson for the Lightweight title in the main event of UFC 164.

This will be the second time that the two men have met - Pettis beat Henderson for the WEC Lightweight championship in December of 2010. Not only did Pettis/Henderson I win fight of the night, but many people proclaimed it Fight of the Year. Pettis/Henderson I featured the now famous "wall kick":

There is a reason why people are so excited for Pettis/Henderson II.

The road to Pettis/Henderson II has taken many twists and turns.

Anthony Pettis was the undisputed #1 contender for the Lightweight title following his victory over Donald Cerrone at UFC on Fox: Johnson vs Dodson.

Following Jose Aldo's victory over Frankie Edgar, Pettis swerved everyone by asking Dana White for a shot at Aldo's Featherweight title. Dana White granted the request, and Pettis/Aldo was signed for UFC 163 in August.

Anthony Pettis' proposed match against Aldo was subsequently scrapped after Pettis went down with an injury. Chan Sung Jung took Pettis' spot and will now square off against Aldo at UFC 163.

Pettis said that he would not be sidelined for long due to his injury, and he started making noises about fighting Ben Henderson this summer. After a bit of thought, UFC President Dana White elected to keep Grant in the title fight - that was, of course, until Grant went down with an injury.

So, after all of that maneuvering, we are back to Anthony Pettis receiving the next title shot against Ben Henderson.
