Earlier today, the UFC announced via their Twitter feed that they have signed an amazing Lightweight fight between Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone and Edson Barboza.

Here is what the UFC had to say on Twitter:

"RT @UFCONFOX Donald @CowboyCerrone vs. @EdsonBarbozaJR has been confirmed for #FOXUFCSaturday in Orlando April 19th."

Cerrone vs Barboza will appear on the main UFC on Fox 11 card, which is scheduled to take place on April 19th in Orlando.

The show has already signed Travis Browne vs Fabricio Werdum for the main event, which should be a very interesting bout as well. With the addition of Cerrone vs Barboza, this card just got even better.

According to the UFC, Donald Cerrone is currently the #8 ranked fighter in the Lightweight division, while Barboza is #11.

Donald Cerrone is coming off of two impressive wins over Adriano Martins and Evan Dunham, while Edson Barboza is currently in the midst of a three fight winning streak. Both fighters are highlight machines, which means that there is a very good chance that this fight will end up earning Fight of the Night honors.

Donald Cerrone has said that he wants a total of five fights in 2014, and he is well on his way, as the Barboza fight will be his second of the year.
