Cerrone Seems Willing to Fight Nurmagomedov

In the aftermath of UFC on Fox 10, Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone stated that he was willing to fight anyone, including those people who were having trouble finding fights.

Those comments seemed to be aimed towards Khabib Nurmagomedov, who has not been able to find a willing opponent in the Lightweight division. Nurmagomedov, who is in the midst of a long winning streak, has had fights against both Gilbert Melendez and Nate Diaz fall apart in recent weeks. In short, nobody seems to be willing to the rising Lightweight star - aside from Donald Cerrone, that is.

Cerrone has made no bones about the fact that he needs money and wants to fight as much as possible. As a matter of fact, Cerrone stated in the UFC on Fox 10 post-fight press conference that he is hoping to fight six times in 2014. He also said that he is willing to take on any challenger that comes his way.

That includes, apparently, Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Nothing has been officially announced as of yet, but don't be surprised if we see a Nurmagomedov/Cerrone fight in April or May.
