UFC Continues To Stack November's MSG Card

Earlier this week, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, aka "Joanna Champion", announced that she will be defending her Strawweight title against Rose Namajunas at UFC 217.

UFC 217, which will be taking place on November 4th at Madison Square Garden in New York City, now features a total of three title fights:

Georges St. Pierre vs Michael Bisping
Cody Garbrandt vs TJ Dillashaw
Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs Rose Namajunas

In addition, there are strong rumors that Frankie Edgar vs Max Holloway will also be added to this card, which would make quite a bit of sense given Edgar's ties to the area.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk, with her incredible striking and cardio, is expected to be the big favourite to win this fight. Namajunas has improved tremendously over the past couple of years, though there is still a talent gap (in my opinion) that Joanna Champion will likely take full advantage of.

I don't see this fight ending well for Rose, who will likely need to end the fight early (likely via submission) in order to have a chance of winning.

In addition to the three title fights mentioned above, Stephen Thompson vs Jorge Masvidal has also been announced.

The UFC seems to be intent on making their annual MSG cards something special, and UFC is certainly going to be no different. On paper, this is easily one of the best UFC cards of all time.
