Earlier this weekend, the UFC revealed that a rematch between Jon "Bones" Jones and Daniel Cormier has been set as the main event of UFC 197 on April 23rd, 2016.

This card was originally set to take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, though legal wrangling made it impossible for the UFC to hold their card in the city. So, the UFC revealed that the card will now be taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As mentioned, Daniel Cormier will be attempting to defend his Light Heavyweight title against Jon "Bones" Jones in the main event. Jones was stripped of his title last year after being involved in a hit-and-run accident. Jones' legal situation was eventually resolved and he was reinstated to the UFC late last year.

Daniel Cormier recently defended his title against Alexander Gustafsson, but many feel as though he will not be the "true" Light Heavyweight champion until he defeats Jon Jones, who never actually lost his title.

Jon Jones has opened as a significant favourite in this fight.

The co-main event of this card will see Demetrious Johnson attempt to defend his Flyweight title against the undefeated Henry Cejudo, who is an Olympic gold medalist. Cejudo has won all four of his fights in the UFC, though there are many people who believe that he isn't ready for the champion as of yet.

You can assume that there will be at least one more high profile fight added to this card over the coming weeks, as the organization is looking to stack cards to continue their strong momentum from last year.
