Oddsmakers Have Hunt vs Nelson Dead Even Heading Into Fight

On Saturday night, Mark Hunt will take on Roy "Big Country" Nelson in the main event of UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs Nelson.

Heading into the fight, the oddsmakers have it dead even, as both men are currently listed at -115 to win. While Roy Nelson certainly has the advantage on the ground, everybody is expecting that the two men will simply stay on the feet and swing wildly, which is what both men are known for.

This fight will come down to one question - who has the better chin? Both men are notoriously hard to knock out - Mark Hunt has only been knocked out twice over the course of his storied career (Junior dos Santos, Melvin Manhoef), while Roy Nelson hasn't been knocked out since October of 2008 (Andrei Arlovski). The best example of Roy Nelson's chin was when he was absolutely bruised and battered over the course of a unanimous decision loss to Junior dos Santos at UFC 117. Dos Santos was hitting Nelson with some absolutely massive shots but "Big Country" refused to go down.

Having said all of that, both Hunt and Nelson have explosive power in their fists, and both men are certainly capable of ending the fight with just one punch. Sure, both men have storied chins, but neither man is very accustomed to fighting an opponent with such striking power in their hands.

As mentioned, this fight will likely come down to who has the better chin. Don't be surprised if you see an absolute bloodbath, similar to Hunt vs Silva, as I don't see either man giving up quietly in this one.
