Will Daley Be Picked Up By The UFC?

Paul Daley was recently released by Bellator due to the fact that he was having troubles securing the visa necessary to fight inside of the United States.

The former UFC fighter, who left the promotion on very bad terms, has now publicly indicated that he would like to return to the world's largest MMA promotion. This makes sense from his perspective, as Daley really has nowhere else to go, unless he wants to continue fighting in regional promotions.

The problem? The UFC doesn't seem too excited about the prospect of Daley returning to the fold.

After all, the UFC cut Daley loose back in the spring of 2010 following his UFC 113 fight against Josh Koscheck. Daley lost his cool at the end of the fight, sucker-punching the victorious Koscheck following the final bell. UFC President Dana White erupted in anger, tossing Daley out of the promotion. White swore that Daley, who had been tabbed as a possible Welterweight contender, would never return.

Daley has won his last four fights in a row and six of his last seven, but these wins have come against less than impressive opponents.

When asked about Daley and the possibility of a UFC return in the UFC on Fox 8 post-fight scrum, White was dismissive and didn't seem too eager to bring Paul back into the fold.

Dana White has brought guys back in the past that he swore would never fight in the UFC again, but will he do the same for Paul Daley?
