Paul Heyman Discusses Brock Lesnar's Possible Return to the UFC

Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar's good friend and manager in the WWE, recently spoke on the possibility of former UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar returning to the UFC.

According to Heyman, Lesnar currently has a "clean bill of health" for the first time since being stricken down by diverticulitis a number of years ago. According to Heyman, Lesnar switched doctors and treatments and only recently solved his lingering issues. Heyman went on to say that Lesnar was clearly not healthy when he took on Alistair Overeem in his last UFC fight.

Heyman stressed that Lesnar is happy in his current situation. Lesnar is a part-time talent with the WWE, working a limited number of dates per year while spending the rest of his time with his family. Lesnar's compensation is not publicly disclosed, but you can safely assume that he is making millions of dollars per year working just a limited number of events every year.

You would have to assume that the WWE and Lesnar would have to have another falling out in order for the former champion to return to the UFC. After all, Lesnar does extremely well with the WWE and he doesn't have to get punched in the face and liver by the baddest men in the world.

Having said that, Lesnar is an extremely competitive individual and I'm sure that he isn't happy with the way that he went out of the UFC.

On the other hand, Lesnar would be in his late 30s by the time that he had a chance to return to the UFC. Sure, he would sell a ridiculous amount of PPVs still, but I can't see him being competitive at that age, especially after being out of the UFC for a number of years. I have a tough time envisioning Lesnar beating the likes of Velasquez or Junior dos Santos.

Stranger things have happened, however, and the UFC would surely welcome Lesnar back to the fold in a second. There are a number of interesting fights that the UFC could put on that don't involve Lesnar fighting the guys at the top of the Heavyweight division.

What do you think about the possibility of Lesnar returning to the UFC? Would you be interested in seeing that?
