Donald Cerrone vs Myles Jury New Co-Main Event of UFC 182

The UFC did a good deal of shuffling and match announcing on Wednesday.

To start, the UFC revealed that the Women's Bantamweight title fight between Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano has been moved to the co-main event of UFC 184, which will be taking place on February 28th, 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. That card will be headlined by the Middleweight title fight between Vitor Belfort and defending champion Chris Weidman.

The move of Rousey/Zingano to UFC 184 left a hole at the top of UFC 182: Jones vs Cormier, as Rousey vs Zingano was briefly attached to that card.

In its place? A Lightweight tilt between Donald Cerrone and Myles Jury. A win for Cerrone would move him one step closer to a shot at the title, while a win for Myles Jury would likely vault him into the top 5 (he currently sits at #8 in the Lightweight division).

Cerrone vs Jury was briefly attached to the January 18th card in Boston that will feature Conor McGregor vs Dennis Siver in the main event. The UFC filled that hole as well as they announced that Ben Henderson would be taking on Eddie Alvarez in the co-main event. This will be Eddie's second fight in the UFC - he will be looking to get back onto the winning track after dropping his debut to Donald Cerrone in a closely contested battle.
