Fight To Serve as Co-Main Event of Card

UFC on Fox Sports 2: Bisping vs Munoz is quickly coming together, as the UFC announced earlier this week that Ross Pearson vs Melvin Guillard has been added as the co-main event.

The card, which is slated to take place on October 26th, will be hosted by Manchester, England. The main event will feature Michael "The Count" Bisping vs Mark Munoz in a very intriguing Middleweight battle.

The co-main event will feature two lightweights who will be looking to continue their way up the ladder in their division.

Melvin Guillard, who has had some issues over the past couple of years, likely preserved his UFC career when he knocked out Mac Danzig at UFC on Fox: Johnson vs Moraga.

Ross Pearson, on the other hand, is currently in the midst of a two fight winning streak since returning to the Lightweight division. Pearson has notched consecutive victories over Ryan couture and George Sotiropoulos.

It will be interesting to see what Ross Pearson's strategy will be heading into this fight. Pearson has won his last two fights via knockout, but does he really want to throw against the notoriously hard hitting Guillard?

This should be an intriguing fight, and it's the perfect co-main event for the Bisping vs Munoz card.
