UFC 200, which is going to be one of the biggest events in the history of the promotion, received its first fight earlier this week.

According to reports, Cain Velasquez will be squaring off against Travis Browne in a Heavyweight tilt. The oft-injured Velasquez, who is looking to rebound following his loss to Fabricio Werdum, will be looking to earn himself another shot at the title with a win. Velasquez was originally set to square off against Fabricio Werdum earlier in the year but had to pull out of the fight due to an injury. Velasquez's spot went to Stipe Miocic instead, who will be squaring off against Fabricio Werdum for the title at UFC 198 in Brazil.

Travis Browne, on the other hand, is looking to rebound after a controversial and unimpressive win over Matt Mitrione earlier in the year. Mitrione was poked in the eye multiple times during the fight, which resulted in "Meathead" suffering a broken orbital bone. Browne, who is currently dating former Women's Bantamweight champion "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey, earned no fans from the fight and was booed loudly after being announced the winner.

Velasquez vs Browne is an interesting stylistic clash. Velasquez is known for his impressive cardio and fantastic wrestling, though he has been known to succumb to a somewhat suspect chin. Travis Browne, on the other hand, is a dynamic striker who has been known to let his fights devolve into sloppy slugfests.

Velasquez will almost certainly look to take the fight to the ground as soon as possible. Cain's ground and pound is second to none, and Browne is going to have a very long night if he can't keep the fight on its feet.

UFC 200 is likely going to feature two title fights - Conor McGregor will likely be defending his Featherweight title against either Jose Aldo or Frankie Edgar, while Robbie Lawler may be defending his Welterweight title against either Georges St. Pierre or Carlos Condit.

Travis Browne vs Cain Velasquez will likely serve as the third fight on the UFC 200 main card, though they could get bumped lower depending on how deep the card ends up being.
