What is Next For Whittaker, Johnson and Rose Namajunas?

The UFC on Fox: Johnson vs Reis card delivered on Saturday night, wiping out the bitter taste of the recently completed UFC 210 PPV event that disappointed so many people.

UFC on Fox: Johnson vs Reis saw Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson solidify his standing as the top P4P mixed martial artist of all time, while Rose Namajunas and Robert Whittaker both turned in star performances.

With UFC on Fox: Johnson vs Reis now in the rearview mirror, we take a look at what might be next for "Mighty Mouse", Whittaker and "Thug Rose".

The King is leaning in on his office table and talking shop. Whare are the next MMA fights for some of UFCs top fighters is the topic.

Rose Namajunas - Namajunas absolutely destroyed Michelle Waterson and will almost certainly be getting the next shot at the Women's Strawweight title, which is currently held by Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

Jedrzejczyk will be looking to defend her title against Jessica Andrade at UFC 211 on May 13th, and Namajunas will almost certainly be getting the winner of that fight, barring some sort of an injury taking place.

Robert Whittaker - shortly after Jacare Souza signed a new 8-fight deal with the UFC, he was soundly beaten by Robert Whittaker.

This was a star-turning performance for Whittaker, and despite his callout of Michael Bisping, the wheels seem to be in motion for a fight between Luke Rockhold and Whittaker, possibly to take place in July. This would be an excellent fight and I believe that it's the fight that the UFC will make, as both men seem to want it.

Demetrious Johnson - who is there left to beat in the Flyweight division for Johnson? The answer? Nobody.

The problem is that Johnson wants to break the record for most consecutive title defences, which means that he'll likely take one more fight at Flyweight before dropping the title to move to Bantamweight, where the likes of Cody Garbrandt, Dominick Cruz and TJ Dillshaw await.

If Sergio Pettis can emphatically beat Henry Cejudo at UFC 211, there is a chance that he might earn himself a shot at Johnson's title. Ray Borg is a top-ranked fighter who has never squared off against Johnson, though Borg has missed weight in two of his last four fights, and I can't see the UFC giving him that opportunity.

If Pettis beats Cejudo, I could see Johnson defending his title against Pettis and then looking to move to Bantamweight.
