According to Wanderlei Silva, his upcoming hearing with the NAC ("Nevada Athletic Commission") will go smoothly and he'll receive a license to fight later in the year.

According to UFC President Dana White, however, Silva is in "big trouble" and could be facing a lengthy suspension.

Earlier in the year, prior to a planned bout against Chael Sonnen that was eventually scrapped, Silva refused to take a random drug test. According to reports, Silva fled the scene when he was asked to submit to a random drug test at his gym. Silva later blamed the "mix-up" on the fact that he doesn't speak English and couldn't understand what was written in the documents that he was being presented.

Wanderlei Silva was eventually pulled from the fight against Chael Sonnen and Dana White offered that Silva would be suspended for a very long time. Silva's hearing with the NAC is later this month.

According to "The Axe Murderer", his upcoming meeting with the NAC will go well and he will be back in the Octagon in "December" of this year.

Silva already has an opponent in mind, as he recently called out Dan Henderson. Henderson seems interested in the "rubber match" as well - Silva and Henderson have met twice before in PRIDE, with both fighter winning one of the fights.

Silva has said that he wants to fight Henderson in a soccer stadium in Brazil, but that he would also do the fight in Japan or the United States.

Dana White, however, seems to think that Silva will receive a lengthy suspension from the NAC. It will be interesting to see what happens.
