Bisping/Munoz Winner Seems Likely For "Jacare"

It's an interesting question - what is next for Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza?

The former Strikeforce Middleweight champion made his UFC debut back in May of 2013 and has certainly not disappointed, crushing both Chris Camozzi and Yushin Okami. The win over Okami was particularly impressive, as Okami was a former title contender who is notoriously hard to finish.

The knock on Souza prior to his appearance in the UFC was that he had substandard striking, but Souza has certainly eliminated any doubters in regards to that aspect of his game after absolutely crushing Okami.

Let's take a look at the current Middleweight rankings to try and get an idea of who Souza might fight next:

Champion - Chris Weidman
1. Anderson Silva
2. Vitor Belfort
3. Ronaldo Souza
4. Michael Bisping
5. Mark Munoz

Vitor Belfort has his hands full with an upcoming fight against Dan Henderson, while Michael Bisping is slated to take on Mark Munoz.

In my opinion, Souza fighting the winner of Munoz/Bisping would make the most sense at this point. Both fighters would provide an interesting stylistic match-up with Souza, and both fighters will likely be looking to get back into the Octagon quickly after a win.

Souza vs Bisping/Munoz? Either fight would be great.
